To answer your question, climate changes was not his expertise. He is a brilliant man, but it seems like his issues with climate change studies is he doesn't approve of the computer information that scientists are using to calculate their numbers.
Which is exactly why we need scientists the stature of Al Gore!

Excellent rebuttal! I'll bet many of the people questioning his opinion based on his background were the same sort of people who praised "An Inconvenient Truth"!

Ah, the deniers favorite whipping boy Al Gore.....Why is it always AWG deniers that bring his name into the discussions? By the way, you should know that Gore is not a scientist.

The believers are the ones who put him up on a pedestal and gave him his false authority in the first place!
Now that much of what he has said has been proven incorrect, you'd like to distance yourselves from him so you blame the skeptics for invoking his name and (inconveniently) reminding you of him.

I'll take a swing at that…

The question was:
"Tell me, what predictions do you think climate scientists have made that have not occurred?"

Just ONE example...

“Within a few years winter snowfall will become a very rare and exciting event. … Children just aren’t going to know what snow is.”

He's also 90 years old.

If you want the real opinion of British Scientists and more specifically British Climatologists then try the Royal Society, the Tyndall Centre For Climate Change Research or the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research (Meteorological Office).

By proven, you must mean some blogger said so and you believe it. Because actual scientists are pretty cool with his film. So denialist whining about Al Gore is not only stupid, it's wrong as well.

But it doesn't matter because all research contradicts denialist claims no matter how much you guys whine and cry about Al Gore.

That's not what I'd like to do. What I'd like to do violates the rules of this message board, and indeed most nations.

ETA: It's weird how right-wingers imagine what people do or think, then act as if their fantasies actually took place.

It's weird how people ASSume that because you are a skeptic of AGW, you are automatically a right winger.

The right wingers here make up stories about what liberals think and do on any given subject, not just scientific matters they don't understand.
