“We will not accept any religious demands in school menus,” National Front party leader Marine Le Pen said in an interview on RTL radio on Friday. “There is no reason for religion to enter the public sphere, that’s the law.”
I wonder if they are going to ban vegetarian options just in case Hindu students need it. I've never understood fanatical secularism. If there is a sizable demand for semi-kosher/halal meals, I don't see a reason why the school system should make it a point to ban them. The European far-right is a joke, "we want keep the gravy train alive for our 'disenfranchised' voter-base, but we want to make life as difficult as possible to be a minority."

Do schools in France have no-choice at lunch or do kids normally get a choice of A or B? If the latter then the RWNJs are just being Moderator cut: inappropriate language in making both choices pork based.
