Exactly. All those 401K and IRA earnings are taxed at the same capital gains tax rate that rich investors pay. Can you imagine the wailing and crying that would result if the working class had to pay taxes through the nose on their retirement account earnings? They would have less to retire on. Who thinks they would be okay with that?

??? The working class people I know don't have retirement accounts.
