a recent Fox poll came out that almost 50% of respondents approved of Obama breaking the law bypassing congress to release Bergdahl. What that tells me we've lost the country. Basically Obama has made the country so dependent on government handouts that americans just don't care what he does.

The real news story is not the Bergdahl release---It's "WE'VE LOST THE COUNTRY"

As michelle would say "I'm ashamed of my country"

I think you mean, "IT'S MY OPINION THAT WE'VE LOST THIS COUNTRY UNTIL PRESIDENT OBAMA LEAVES THE OVAL OFFICE IN TWO YEARS."

You're welcome.

What did the law say? Congress needed to be consulted before releasing prisoners. They consulted some in 2013, more in 2012 and 2011.

That beats 30 days.

So this whole "he broke the law" is an opinion, not a legal fact.

Should he have released the prisoners? For a soldier, despite his past? Time will tell and I with hold judgement until I know all of the facts.

The left didn't win. Reagan was a big government guy, so was Bush 1 and 2, and of course Clinton was. Now Barrack Obama is, but not as far left as many in his party would like.

Its Washington politicians that have failed this country, not left or right.

But we aren't failed as a nation.

OP, there's nothing at your link, and although I can google up stories referring to the poll, I can't find the poll itself. Do you happen to know what is going on with it????

Well said, but be prepared for at least six more years of "The sky is falling" doom and gloom as we're pretty much guaranteed another Democratic administration unless Republicans find a non-nutty white knight to lead them out the dark in 2016.

The RWNJs have indeed lost 3 out of the last 4 national elections. But if they want to see what an actual failed country looks like, Somalia is nice this time of year.

Well, now that Rand Paul turned out to be the fraud I said he would be 2 years ago, and gay marriage is legalized in my state, there's no reason for me to vote GOP anymore, even on the state level.

Free healthcare is a misnomer.
