Regardless of our opinions about the secret tape recording, a person with any class and decency at all would have already apologized by now. He has not done so. He has basically been his own worst enemy.

Magic is no role model he cheated on his wife and got HIV because of it.Thank god his wife or son she was pregnant with did not get it.

It does not ring sincere though, because he also said she should not be inviting Magic to the games. An apology would have been the way to handle this, but he did not have the integrity to do that. Costs him a small amount of time and none of his precious $$$.

Actually, not quite what you mean. Texas is a "one party's knowledge" state. The law prevents a third party from eavesdropping without either of the conversing parties knowing, but it's fully lawful in Texas for only one of the conversing parties to know that recording is occurring.
That is also the extent of the federal law. Only a minority of states require both conversing parties to be aware of the recording.
