Not unless we have a drastic change in the direction we are taking.

Neither the "D's" or, the "R's" seem to have the fortitude.....but, how could they???

Their constituents don't either.

The US has been on the fast-track toward third-world status since 1992. There is no hope for the US, it is a defeated, bankrupt, and utterly corrupt nation. Just like the voters wanted.

Well the nation was self sufficient before until the white man sailed across the sea and killed all the self sufficient people off and put them on reservations.

No. Liberals (members of both parties) won't abolish or rein in the environmentalist extremist in the EPA.

Only if "my guys" are in charge. Those "other guys" over there are at fault for what's happened to this nation. Once me and the people who think exactly like me are in charge then all will be good.

No, I seriously doubt that the US will ever be self sufficient.

Too many components in the equation, which need to be corrected. There is too much self interest to correct the said.

For us to be truly self sufficient, everyone would be required to unite for a common goal.
