The State Department was never in General Lovell's chain of command. It was a stupid question with only one possible (meaningless) answer.

So you were smart enough not to vote for this administration, one much worse?

A lie is not "a spin on a story".
Obama himself flung the intentionally false stories to benefit himself.

Well then did they tell ANYONE to go rescue them? NO, NO, and NO. That is the reason the 2 marines took it upon themselves to go help and got killed doing it.

Brett Baier is taking down Tommy Vietor, former Obama admin member, one video at a time on Special Report right now. Vietor will claim that Mike Mullins said something, Brett rolls the video showing Vietor is lying.
Vietor made a different claim, Brett plays video of General Lovell.

Vietor just admitted Obama was NOT in the situation room that night. Best interview I've seen on Benghazi so far.

Bet Obama is really unhappy that Joe Klein just endorsed this exact show as the best news at 6:00 this week. New people tuning in are getting to see the Vietor get caught in his own lies.

100% of the actual documentary evidence proves this is not true.

Whether the State Department did or not is not the issue. Any request from them would have been completely superfluous. The US military employed every military asset available for the purposes of helping the folks in Benghazi. They did absolutely everythong that wqas possible to do.

What Marines? No Marines were killed that day.

Like I said, what happened is sad, but there is nothing more to do about it. Talking about Benghazi everyday dilutes what happened and makes people roll their eyes and change the channel. Sorry, but it is old news; a part of history.

Then there are those that actively sought to make it "old news" as soon as possible (immediately) because they had an election approaching.

Are you trying to get hired by the Obama administration or something, if you aren't working for them already? George Orwell's 1984 for sure.

The reason so many in the press suck up to Obama is he gives them jobs. Not very fair reporting when you are getting perks from the boss.

Not sure why the posting I was responding to was not included.

This is my response to the Chaffetz: "Did the state Department ever tell you to go save the people in Benghazi?"

Give me a break, the Defense Dept. from Panetta on down were aware of the situation almost immediately and began responding with the assets they had, which unfortunately were not well positioned for a rapid rescue mission.
