I think weather girls are typically hot because they show their entire body, when they stand in front of the weather map.

The other newswomen just usually sit behind a desk.

Only kidding, but there are really a lot of males who do the weather. Most of the local weather people here are men. Only one is a hot blond idiot, though. The rest are all brunettes, and some no longer have any hair to speak of. And aren't exactly hot, either, unless 40 year old guys with a few extra pounds are hot.

Back when I lived in Oklahoma City the elderly weatherman for one station was often drunk while doing the weather. He was rather entertaining to watch. He would be fine for the 6 o'clock report, but at 10....

Football-wise, I well recall when all of the 'on-the-field' sports people were men, and the outcry when one network (I do not recall which) hired a very attractive blonde woman to do the quick interviews with the football players. Now, when I watch any type of football (college, pro) it seems that all of the field reporters are hot women.

Not that I am complaining. Better than a drunken weatherman.
