The government should not be interfering in it. They can round up all the illegals they want. But when they tell a private business owner who he can do business with, they cross the line. I can see a law protecting an owner who refuses to rent to illegals, but not the government telling him he can not.
Then the gov't has the RIGHT to grab that property because it's being used for CRIMINAL activities. Harboring illegal aliens IS a felony. Tho I'm NO fan of big brother; sometimes they're right.
If illegals trash your property you have literally no recourse to recover damages. It took the SCOTUS to determine that being forced to rent to them was a bad idea?
I find it very interesting that so many people support a law that limits what a property owner can or can not do with their property.
Really? So you think that you should be able to sell heroin out of your front yard? Can I keep a rocket launcher as long as it's on my own property?
Or how about this. If you want people to be free to rent their property to illegal aliens because it is their property, how about we let people refuse to offer coverage of birth control in the health insurance they offer employees at their private businesses?

The only solution is to go after illegal employers.
That is one part of the solution. The total is to go after the facilitators as well. That would include cousin Ivan who cousin Igor the illegal live in his home. That includes any church that offers sanctuary. That includes people who allow illegals to drive their car.
I would also add seize the assets of the illegals to help offset the cost of their deportation.
HIRING illegal aliens is tantamount to harboring them , also...........(imho )
But T-310 seems beholden to the corrupt right-wing perspective such that he cannot bring himself to see that, since they come here for money, not for apartments to live in, that hiring illegal aliens is the greater offense, and should have been addressed in this manner long before even thinking about renting. But of course that would cramp the exploitative style of the right-wing's rich masters, so the right-wing must not go that way, eh, T-310? Better to focus on getting right-wing jollies making illegal aliens live in even more desperate conditions rather than eliminate the reason why they cross the border in the first place. For the right-wing, it seems to be about the harm that they can inflict, not about remedying a problem.
