Muslims feel that Sharia law is their only law and others laws like American laws do
not apply to them. Should courts apply Sharia laws to muslims?
No, Muslims don't feel that Sharia law is their only law and that other laws like American laws do not apply to them. A small radical group may think this way, just like a small radical group of Christians think Biblical laws should rule supreme. I think its that group that is far more vocal here, but you can go ahead and keep raging about a fake boogeyman in the closet. And by the way, if a Muslim were tried under Sharia law, the result would be far worse than under an American criminal court, so again this thread fails.
while our country was founded on religious freedom, the laws in this country were designed for everyone, not a select few. as with any country, the laws of that country have to apply equally to everyone or they are not laws at all.
