This is a stupid thread.

People choose to play football. I chose to play knowing all the risk. I liked the contact. Love the game. Love to be the enforcer on the field.

Are we going to ban boxing, mma, and all other contact sports because of injuries and risks? What about ALL jobs with injuries and risks??

We might as well. We could all just sit on our hands and live in a bubble, because life is just too dangerous.

I think it goes beyond this...

We're you injected with unprescribed drugs?
Did you have injuries you weren't told about upon examination?

The NFL is a BIG business that has the occasional football game.
If we look at it that way these NFL corporations are forcing their employees to always work harder, while ignoring the pain so they can keep working and making huge profits for the CEO's and shareholders.
If you think about the structure yes the players are paid but it could be likened to a form of slavery. At the very least the players could be viewed as indentured servants. They throw themselves into the meat grinder, destroying their bodies for fame and if they are smart enough a pile of cash that they can hold onto without blowing it.
Football is a rugged game and the NFL is a hard business.

Oh yeah even with believing all this I'm still a FAN. GO PATRIOTS!!

Where can I sign up to be an indentured servant for millions of dollars a year?
