It's hard for you to give an answer that doesn't involve insulting millions of people who enjoy having a partner of the same gender. Seriously, it's not about gender when it comes to love - it's who compliments and accents you.

Saying that being homosexual is a "character flaw" - that's ridiculous. There's many other species of animals (since we are animals, ourselves) that can also be homosexual.

Aside from that, I'd like an honest answer to this scenario:

Your current favorite candidate for Presidency (gets rid of current significant other) and is now traveling with someone of the same gender. This candidate doesn't say it out loud, "I'm GAY!" - but rather does the same as the other candidates.

Would you not vote for said candidate purely over having a significant other who is the same gender?
First , let me point out that this thread was not started by a Christain obssessed with homosexuals and abortion. These thread always go down the same roads. now you are geeting into all different shades of the same hypothetical. I would absolutely not vote for any one that had a same sex partner. Thought that would be obvious from my previous post.

Anybody who knows Hillary knows shes not truly a heterosexual. She is a homosexual (maybe bisexual) and was commonly seen around alternative bars in Little Rock when her husband was governor. This State Trooper I know said that she did more women than Bill. If Hillary is elected she will be our first homosexual President. That said, I am not against her being president because she is homosexual, I am against her for a multitude of other reasons.

I have absolutely no homosexual freinds that I know of. I am not in an enviroment where we would really cross paths.

Really , ok lets stop talking about it , lets stop bringing it up in this forum lets stop injecting it into politics, stop using it as a wedge issue. Leave it in the bedroom and I most certainly will stay out of it. PLEASE!! I do not want to know about homosexuals sex lives believe me!

Newsflash but Gay people come from all walks of life and all environments ( including deeply religious or very macho ones). You might not think you know any Gay people but I would be amazed if you didn't. They might be too afraid to come out of the closet sadly but I suspect they are there.

Well if Hillary wins, then ...

Seriously, yes, I would. But I would NOT vote for a candidate who was not out.

And you know what? Over the past couple hundred years, it's quite possible that we've probably already had a gay president.

Openly gay population booming; Utah soars from 38th to 14th "gayest" state

I said that I know of, because I dont go around asking people about their sexual preferences. I can definately say I have no OPEN homosexual friends or aquaintances.
