Your and other liberals' callous disregard for others has caused THIS:

1) Nearly half of all U.S. births are paid for by Medicaid (medical care public assistance program for the poor).
Medicaid Pays For Nearly Half of All Births in the United States | publichealth.gwu.edu

2) Those who receive public assistance have a birth rate 3 times higher than those who don't. Stats and citations, here:
http://www.city-data.com/forum/32045595-post217.html

3) 70% of those who are born into poverty never even make it to the middle class.

What's your plan for paying to support all those people going forward? How is that sustainable.

What makes you think guaranteeing millions more children a lifetime of struggle, hardship, and poverty makes you a kind or decent human being?

You aren't an island unto yourself. You are part of society. Even if you don't like it.

Stop making excuses for the egoistic behavior you want to engage in.

Period.

Neither are non-incapacitated public assistance recipients. They can contribute to society to earn their food, clothing, and shelter assistance just like everyone else earns the means to acquire their food, clothing, and shelter.

You have a sick point of view....

Why should I provide for someone else, when they just don't want to?

Most people on welfare actually do work just an fyi. Its the mere fact that the quality of jobs that are the most prevelant are **** poor and they pay poorly. But dont let that fact let you change your mind. Besides, with automation and outsourcing dont be suprised when you lose your job and have to get welfare. Its just a matter of when, not if.

I didn't say they didn't. All I said was that if they needed public assistance, they need to earn it. Wouldn't be the first time someone has worked 2 or even 3 jobs to feed, clothe, and house themselves and their dependent children.

Can't afford to provide for children? Don't have any. Or wait until you're further along in your career or have a better paying job that provides the means to care for dependent children.
