Interesting...is this a brilliant idea or is he sorely misguided? I think his numbers on "family units" and "family size" are off.

Another lets hand the poor money thread. I can see why you are in support when this program plus what you make flipping burgers gives you around 51,000 a year income. This income equality crap is going no where, do you think the bankers and corporations would let it take place? Of course not, now get back behind the grill and stop dreaming about freebies.

Eliminating Medicare and Social Security would drastically reduce the standard of living for millions of Americans who have worked all their lives.

yeah i'm skeptical about this claim, too

overall, the biggest parts of his proposal are the elimination of Medicare and Medicaid. good luck to him with that.

cutting medicare would be roughly $12,000 per year, per retiree. (2010 dollars)
