Lolz. Did you just gloss over everything I said? Productivity and wages have decoupled. Globalization is just one aspect of that.

I asked you who should I blame for what happens under a presidents term of office? Should I blame someone from 20 years ago? In the future maybe? Who should I blame for what happens during a presidents term if not the one that was president?

Everything has decoupled because of massive pumping from the Fed.

So according to you Nigeria is booming.

Wow, who would have thought that simply changing the way something is calculated, makes things all better..

So if I have $1 and I spend $1 on a candybar, if I just recalculate candybars as a non expense, this means I still have $1..

Wow, thats fantastic..

Does it work for mortgages and cars?

As I said, private sector profits have increased, along with productivity at the expense of labor. We have been undergoing a fundamental shift for about two decades. Globalization and technology can be a cruel mistress as the private sector has figured out how increase profits with less labor in developed countries.

Well if you think all the policies and legislation and their effects end when a politicians' term is over then you aren't too bright. Also, despite the ignorance of the far right in calling Obama a king or tyrant, we actually have a system of checks and balances.

Specifically, who to blame, I don't really care. I don't solve problems by playing the blame game. Conservatives and democrats are equal in their incompetency.

Just be honest and admit your partisanship and lack of an open mind.

Based off what? Did the decoupling occur before or after 2007?

And that is why we want small government. But now that Obama grew government even bigger... It will be hard to downsize them and they need more of our money to pay for them. The government will have their tentacle in every pat of our lives.

Government is even telling our children what to eat for gods sakes.

Yes profits have increased. The stock markets have been good to a relatively few.

Small government is just a buzz word. I don't care about the size, just the results. I wholeheartedly agree the government should be reduced, in some areas, and expanded in others.

Every president in modern history has grown the government, what makes Obama special? The hero of conservatives, Reagan vastly increased the government through the military. As did both Bushes.
