The Arizona Department of Health Services, which oversees the state's medical marijuana program, wants to slash card prices by 50 percent for seniors, veterans, and those who receive Social Security and disability payments.
They could be standing on the corner giving it away free and I wouldn't touch that crap. It's just an attempt to dumb down the population even further. So sad that people are so easily lead astray.

Marijuana does not kill brain cells like Alcohol does. At worst, they'll be dumb for a short period of time and recover. Alcohol and cigarettes on the other hand, are a bigger problem in terms to dumbing down the population.

About the only group NOT on a fixed income these days is social security recipients. They get raises every year. Sure it is only a couple of percent, but that is a couple percent more than anyone else is getting. And if inflation rises they are certain to get more.
Actually, they did not receive COLA's in 2010 & 2011.
The state is considering offering a 50% discount on the $150 cost of the card, a discount that is already offered to those on Food Stamps. There is $9 million in the fund that they have received from purchasers of the card so they are considering broadening the discount of the card. Not a big deal.

But a bunch of seniors on oxycontin/synthetic heroin is just another day in America right?
