Look I like a lot of the people here even if I disagree with you on many things.

But let's be honest. America is terminally dysfunctional. It's falling apart. But you know, these things happen historically, to everyone.

My advice to people is to prepare in some way. Not necessarily panic or move to bunker or the boondocks, but just prepare in some way. Anything is better than nothing.

Well, there are some sinkholes in Florida...but other than that, I think we're doing okay.

Oh, you meant *metaphorically*!

No, we're not. We are changing. You may not like it but it's not the end of the world or even the country.

Self fulfilling prophecy.

The loudest cries of collapse come from the same people who vote for it. Get a clue.

AMERICA IS NOT REALLY COLLAPSING
...

★ The influx of invaders - ahem - illegal aliens - ahem - migrants, that burden the taxpayers is a “good thing,” and people who don’t share your language, customs, nor philosophy, disregard your laws and property rights are great to have as next door neighbors - or squatting in your house.
★ The national debt, in excess of 17 trillion dollars and growing, can never be paid off. Remember, dollar bills (Federal Reserve NOTES) are part of the debt - being borrowed into existence, at usury. Debt cannot pay debt. So the ever growing debt service is great for the taxpayers. (Let’s break the 44% aggregate tax ceiling!)
★ This impossible to repay debt cannot be challenged, pursuant to clause 4, 14th amendment, U.S. Con. Huzzah, cry the bankers.
★ If the debt and interest were frozen right now, it would only take 190,000 years to mine enough bullion to legally pay off the national debt, pursuant to law.
★ The actual amount of dollar bills in circulation is a tiny portion of the accounts receivable and debts owed, so that if all loans were called due, no one would get more than a penny for every dollar bill owed.
★ Americans have lived under a State of Emergency, since 1933, that has bypassed the limitations and requirements imposed by the U.S. Constitution. Guess we don’t have to worry about government “obeying” the supreme law of the land anymore.
★ National socialism, since 1935, has eradicated absolute ownership (private property) and substituted qualified ownership - a revenue taxable privilege - so that just about everything owned, every vocation, and / or transaction involves an excise tax. (Gee, without private property rights, government can “take” our property and not have to pay just compensation)
★ It’s great that Americans embraced the notion that it was a “good thing,” for government to take from one to give to another. What kind of collectivist state doesn’t like compulsory charity and expropriation of property, minus a skim for the management?
★ The added taxes, bureaucratic administrative overload, and red tape from ever growing government has stifled progress in all sectors of the economy. Industrialization is down. Manufacturing is all but eradicated. Transportation is a quagmire of regulatory barriers, congestion and misappropriated subsidies. Housing is rigidly code bound into expensive, ephemeral, inefficient and minimally performing products that are easily destroyed by the vagaries of Mother Nature. And advanced education is more involved with selling credentials, than learning.
★ The cost for food is skyrocketing, yet populations increase, while quality is plummeting. Why, in short order, we’ll be self-poisoning ourselves more efficiently than any other nation.
★ Best of all, the myriad abuses by government are entirely voluntary, based on consent, saith the law.

America isn't collapsing. I don't see how it could be. The government is technically stronger than ever. Divided and seemingly unintelligent, but it is strong and it's got the largest military force on the planet at it's disposal. The US has the largest economy in the world; if the United States collapsed in some way, the world would likely suffer. No; America is not collapsing. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.

An era may be ending though. Arguably, the one we should want to be in has already passed.
