Gary Oldman Apologizes for Stereotyping Jews | Movies News | Rolling Stone

So....the PC Nazis strike again....

Hmmmm, if your name is Larry David though...and you exploit Jewish stereotypes...you get 12 seasons on HBO..and like millions on top of millions. Maybe he learned the secret how to avoid all the backlash from Woody Allen ....

Oh BTW.....Jews run Holywood. What world do we live in when we cannot call the sky blue anymore?

For the record, I'm Jewish and I don't care what Gary Oldman says.

Godwin in the first sentence...

You get that if the Nazi's didn't like what you said they killed you without any retribution? Some people just used their first amendment rights to express their displeasure with what he said. If you don't get the difference between shooting someone in the head and expressing displeasure you really need a sense of perspective.

Yeah, we get the antisemitic BS people like to spew when Stormfront is down about Jewish conspiracies.

No one prevented him or you from saying what you wanted. Freedom of speech lets you do that. It does not restrict the freedom of speech of those who disagree or criticize what is said. Re-defining what the first amendment says is pretty common for bigots and wingnuts.

Bigots love to say how they have the freedom of speech to spout their crap. They don't like it when people use the same right to criticize them. Same with the right of freedom of association with their hated groups...till people use the same right to not associate with them. People get this BS hypocrisy and laugh every time people see it.

One can only imagine what Twentieth Century Fox threatened him with if he didn't go on this public apology tour, starting with the Jimmy Kimmel show. The guy probably is already being threatened from all sides.

He looked awful and sad on that show, it was pathetic but he was pushed in a corner.

I know what a Nazi is.

I know what the first amendment is.

You need to learn what collusion and coercion are.

"Blahhh blahh blahh freedom of speech is... blahh blahh...not absolute....blah blah...BUT not without IMPUNITY....blahh blahh blahh....*insert generic partisan insult here* "

You believe in mob rule...that's fine. Most cowards do.

Gary Oldman was defending Mel Gibson's dumbass drunken comments.

And yeah, Jews are pretty damn powerful in Hollywood, but why state the obvious? Blacks make up the majority of NBA players....just in case you didn't know.

Italians make the best Italian food.
The Dutch like building windmills.
The Japanese make the best cars.

I mean, he just came off like an a-hole in the interview. When i read it a few days ago, i knew he'd be issuing an apology soon afterwards. You could set your watch to it.
