"The combined average temperature over global land and ocean surfaces for May 2014 was record highest for this month, at 0.74°C (1.33°F) above the 20th century average of 14.8°C (58.6°F)."
One month does not a decade make. It was the same exact site that you cited that showed cooling in the US, and showed a pause in warming over the past 15 years. Go ahead and cherry pick a warm month here, or a cool day there, it matters not.
I don't understand why the deniers feel so threatened by the global warming theories. What do they believe they are going to lose? Or have lost already?
Nothing your side has predicted has come true. You should be thrilled, the warming has paused, and its actually cooled in some areas of the world, rejoice.

I haven't taken a side. I'm agnostic on this issue.
Does that stop your side from claiming something happening at the north pole is global?
The point that apparently escpes you, is that nowhere did the AGW scammer side claim that from the year 1999, gobal warming would lead to a slight cooling trend in the United States.
First NOOA put out a report that the planet has not warmed at all, in the past 15 or so years, now they put out data that shows the USA actually cooled. When either of these two facts are pointed out to you, then you call people "whiners?"
Yet the data shows the planet has warmed during that time regardless of what has happened in the US over that same period of time.
The concerns with our polar caps is the livelihood of this planet and the need to prevent the loss of glacier ice.

And you didn't answer my question.
It's not about winning or losing, it's about the truth and facts. The facts are, we had a Little Ice Age, it's warmed up out of it by about a gegree or so, and humans producing CO2 had nothing to do with it. I'm glad it's warmer, a little more warming would be better, so we do not easily slide back into another year with cold temps, short growing seasons and harsh winters.
The AGW side has predictions of castostrophic doom and gloom, global warming. Where did they get these predictions from? From climate computer models They use the frightening future of their computer models to drive draconian public policies, forcing citizens to drastically alter their lifestyles, and force them to pay enormous fines, fees and taxes.
These computer models are all they have. So when their models fail to properly predict the climate, and we have a global warming pause, it should alarm people that these forecasters of doom may be completely wrong, I do not win when their forecasts of climatic doom are wrong, because it's not a contest. Unless you think when these forecasts are wrong it offers the people a possible repreive from governmental tyranny.

Of course it warmed, otherwise we'd still be suffering within a little ice age. News flash, we WILL LOSE glacial ice, because the last glacial period ended, and the glaciers are melting, the seas are rising. The seas have been slowly rising for tens of thousands of years, and they will continue to melt.
If you think CO2 is the single driving forrce behind whether the planet is warming or cooling, and that CO2 can cause dramtic warming, then rethink you position
Very true. According to the scientists at NOAA it has cooled 0.05C.
That the part she will deny.
