If a female Democrat had ran who had the education and political experience that Palin had, the media would have treated it much differently. That would have influenced many people. The womens rights groups would have backed her. She would have been backed by the Hollywood elites. She would have been pushed to stardom by the media.
We would have heard stories about how she was a "supermom". She would have been admired by most liberals as a role model. The media would have glossed over the areas where she lacks experience (they've done this before). Her views and voting records would have been glossed over unless they would directly help her cause. She would have been successfully portrayed as the common person taking on corrupt government and winning. There would have been stories of how her family had reversed the conventional roles of parenthood with her husband caring for the kids while she was away---setting an example for other women to pursue their dreams.
I agree, the thing liberals fear the most is a minority or woman that does not fall in line with the prog group think. It is a threat to the endless work they have done to label conservatives as old white men and they will do everything they can to protect that image.

.......Again, with the "fear" being mixed up with "Humour".
They need to let this one go, they'll never rehabilitate her image and associating her with the GOP just hurts them.
