Hey liberals could it be that Reagan was right.---trickle down economics

There’s a new advantage to doing business in New York. A big one. START-UP NY, Governor Cuomo’s groundbreaking initiative, is transforming communities across the state into tax-free sites for new and expanding businesses. Now, businesses can operate 100% tax-free for 10 years. No income tax, business, corporate, state or local taxes, sales and property taxes, or franchise fees.

Businesses and private citizens who could afford to we're leaving the extremely high taxes and fees of NYC. Now they're trying to attract them back. Good luck.

What left are you talking about and where are they claiming this? There's no left wing hive mind anywhere. I also don't recall seeing any economists anywhere that say that there's not an economic stimulus to cutting taxes.

Should you be so keen about whining about yet another issue then where's your analysis of the stimulus effects of tax reductions vs spending increases?

I'm not sure why the fake conservatives here think that running deficits and borrowing from China is having 'lower taxes'. It's just deferred taxes and more debt.

Liberals, of course, are wrong again.

We simply need to take a look at the extreme situations of a 0% tax vs a 100% tax on business to understand how taxes impair the ability of business to compete, expand, and employ citizens.

EVERY nation or state in the world attempts to cut taxes in order to attract business. If this practice was ineffective, nations would always raise taxes, which they do not.

Just another example of liberal confusion. Take the position on an issue dictated by common sense and a liberal will choose the opposite stance. It is like a child's game of "opposite day".

You obviously do not read the NY Times or Watch MSNBC. The militant progressives always lay claim that economic hubs like New York and California adhere to some far left wing, wealth redistribution ideologyy. It is a crock. The businesses in those states operate on the backs of the taxpayers. Just more proof how deceptive democrats are when they claim to be the party of the middle class.

And even more so now with NY's 10 year long tax-free incentive for businesses.

People need to wise-up and stop letting Democrats continuously dupe them.

NYC has been growing in population and while it's expensive relative to the rest of the USA, it's a bargain compared to most Alpha cities.

There's nothing in NYC which can be considered a 'bargain' under any circumstances, including housing, gasoline prices, taxes, hotel rates and everything else.

Definitely not a liberal utopia, and neither is LA or Chicago for that matter.
