Jeff Sessions is awesome, he's been the only senator to consistently stand up for the American people on this issue for years. However on this he is wrong. We are all worried about Obama's lawlessness but we have to address one issue at a time. Pass a House bill and dump it on Harry Reid let the Dems answer why they think thousands of Central American children should come here at US taxpayer expense. The GOP once again has an issue they can capitalize upon but once again Ted Cruz is leading some into the abyss.

Harry Reid will answer with amendments to the bill, that the conservatives will not pass, when it goes back to the house.

As usual THANK YOU Senator Sessions for your common sense and representing those who feel unrepresented by their Senators and Congressman

The average American voter has problems thinking and chewing gum at the same time.

The pig wearing lipstick in office is counting on it.

Yes do not provide the funding but whine that no one is doing the job, brilliant if you can get the sheeple to believe you are doing it for their own good instead of for political reasons they are really doing it.

He's also sponsoring the lawsuit against the president. I'm thinking we might see Sessions run in 2016.

Shoot, they won't even bring up easy to pass bills like this one: https://beta.congress.gov/bill/113th...114/cosponsors. There are solutions to tweaking this thing and making these kids equal to the Mexican kids - they won't even do that. A few months ago, I read something like 80 Representatives want them legalized anyway. The Representatives people needed the workers. Nothing is going to be done, they are all asshats.

gretzky99 = ""show me a liberal and i'll eventually scratch you out a fascist"

I could not find that quote in the text of Sessions speech at the link to NRO you provided. IMO the quote does not sound like something Sessions would say - do you have a link to a Sessions quote or is the quote your commentary on Obama?

the_loper - Sessions is not running in 2016. Here is an article from our liberal paper composed around an out-of-context remark:

'Flabbergasted' Sen. Jeff Sessions: 'I know I'm not qualified to be president' | AL.com

I have the privilege of voting for and being represented by Senator Sessions.
