I believe this is a revenge ploy by the fired social media worker. I expect we'll see a defamation lawsuit being filed by the school in short order.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
The owner has confirmed the story to the Salt Lake Tribune, and a defamation suit against an unemployed blogger living in a friend's basement won't yield much.

I doubt it..looks like they got ahold of the owner.
From the OP post:
Woodger says his reaction to Torkildson’s blog has nothing to do with homosexuality but that Torkildson had caused him concern because he would "go off on tangents" in his blogs that would be confusing and sometimes could be considered offensive.
"People at this level of English," Woodger says, " … may see the ‘homo’ side and think it has something to do with gay sex."
A homophone is a word that is pronounced the same, even though it has different spellings and meanings.
Example:
There, their. To, too, two. Sea, see. Bee, be.
Homophones are one of the biggest traps in phonetic learning. Spelling phonetically doesn't take homophones into account. That's why there/their is one of the most common mis-spellings in the language.
'Phone' is the Latin root of many of our words. Homo (man) phone (sound) is a single word for the sound of human speech.
I don't know how advanced this is, but I learned it in high school, back in 1961, in high school English.
The issue here is about some ignorant people who opened up a "school" out in the middle of nowhere. This is not the first nor will it be the last substandard school to be created in this country. There were plenty of them around before we ever heard the name Obama.
I would love to hear how Obama figures into this particular school, according to you.
It's amazing how people like you find an excuse to blame Obama for any and everything that is bad. My kid failed arithmetic in school...it's Obama's fault. It's raining on a day that I planned a BBQ...it's Obama's fault. I got a flat tire...it's Obama's fault. The grocery store is out of my favorite yogurt...it's Obama's fault. My shower nozzle broke...it's Obama's fault, etc., etc.
