They were beaten in July by HLN of all things!

MSNBC had a rough month as it slipped to fourth in the key demo -- viewers ages 25-54 -- for total day (92,000 viewers) and third in the key demo during primetime (152,000 viewers). They were the network's worst demo numbers during primetime in eight years (since July 2006), according to the latest Nielsen data.

This is what happens when you constantly lie, demonize and kiss the potus's azz 24/7

Not to mention having an angry prime time lineup consisting of al sharpton, ed schultz and madcow.

How long will they be propped up?

I hope not.

I am a fiscal conservative......but, believe all views should be represented as much as possible.

MSNBC is going the way of Air America and all liberal news outlets before it. Liberalism in America is only sustained by glitches in the system.....like when America barfs up a Democratic President. Otherwise, liberalism is a blight on America. Even liberals get tired of the brand of liberalism spewed on the airwaves. It's an ideology that is doomed to failure in right-leaning America.

(Does anyone expect a cable opinion outlet that hires Al Sharpton to promote liberal ideology to actually succeed?)

Perhaps MSNBC's demise will provide an opening for al-Jazeera America to spread, which will be a distinct improvement in quality over MSNBC.

As long as there are idiots, there will always be an MSNBC. I think it has a very safe future.

I was actually thinking about watching that new program, "Morning Jew". It sounds interesting. Perhaps it will feature information about flatuence from celebrities other than Howard Stern.

As terrible movies like "CHUD", "Plan 9 From Outer Space", and "Eraserhead" have gained cult status, MSNBC may have a cult following that admires the station for its outrageous incompetence and comedic impact. They may be on to something.

The problem is that MSNBC takes a very sophomoric( and that's putting it kindly) approach to its politics. They think their viewers are idiots or party mantra chanting burnouts who are completely closed off to open minded presentations and honest discussion. Then on top of that, they hires the dregs of the industry with no journalistic integrity or dignity who barely make an effort to do their jobs. And their contributing guests are a gibbering pack of gargoyles. Why be bored watching MSNBC when you can watch Comedy Central and get as mush political insight along with cheap laughs?
That was why most of their viewers abandoned them and watch FOX, at least they do a professional job and they debate with guests who have first hand knowledge of whats being discussed.

It won't be until they stop receiving funds from the White House to push their propaganda. I'm thinking either after the midterms when Republicans take over the senate, or 2016 when they take the POTUS, keeping the house and senate.

What is that?

I know Comcast is a cable company and MSNBC is come kind of "news" (snicker) channel, but I don't know what HLN is.

Why don't you just merge all news into two channels: the DNC Channel and the GOP Channel.

That's pretty much how it is anyway, isn't it?

That would free up cable space for the Home Abortion Network and the Booger Art Channel.

Or you could just have a "national" news network: TUSS (like TASS only different).

You could broadcast official sound-bites all day.

Longing for independent media....

I can't watch any American "news" channels. Too much yelling and I'm not sure they even know what they are saying anymore, the goal seems to be outrageous enough to get ANOTHER news source to cover them being outrageous.
