Good lord...you folks never learn.

What happened the last time the Republicans had both houses?

Nothing. And eventually, they got so pathetic that they lost it all.

Happened before, and it'll happen again.

But hey...believe what you want.

Over the past 6 years there are those that I have worked with that question some of the things that have occurred that have affected them and their sensibilities.

I had to tell them that they got what they asked for when they voted.
It wasn't pleasant to see them thinking after the fact about the vote they had already cast.

Actually the only interesting thing is how many people were unsure.

A LOT of people have been leaving both the D and R parties to become Independents. I view this as a good thing

If there were just candidates instead of corrupt political machines we would be better off.

Will the GOP win the Senate, very possibly, is the Daily Caller a source of viable news, Nope.

What's happening now? Nothing. The Senate under Democrat majority has passed fewer Bill than any Senate in this nation's history. Those are facts. Look it up.

So what?

That somehow means that when Republicans have both Houses, their gonna somehow grease the skids and pass a bunch of legislation and everything is gonna run smooth again?

You can't be this delusional.

I had high hopes the last time that happened, but it just turned in to legislators tripping over themselves to pass laws on social issues while running larger and larger deficits in the hopes of getting re-elected. A conservative senate would be good, but the congressional districts are so gerry rigged now that the only conservatives we get in there are stupid nut jobs who don't want to do anything.

The Senate will still have too many Democrats for the Republicans to be effective.
