Time to open the book at page 5 of the closeted Marxists -- if others find out you're in the closet -- ridicule them as kooks and conspiracy theorists.

I don't see the controversy here. So a group of journalists exchange ideas? Why is this a conspiracy? When I was in NYC, there were all kinds of salons for people to discuss intellectual ideas. Are you supposed to post a notice in the paper or something? Is this supposed to be the Freemasons or the Skull and Bones? What is it that is upsetting to the OP? Just because conservative journalists have no actual ideas to exchange doesn't mean nobody else does. Much ado about nothing.

And the far right has secret groups, and what do they fight for? (tax cuts for corporations and the rich.)

The Koch brothers who are the most powerful republicans in America have secret meetings. But they are not fighting for high worker wages or middle class tax cuts, they are making secret plans to get corporate tax cuts.

And these republican billionaires have a much larger secret ring than liberals. The following link shows the network of republican think tanks that deny global warming (because combating global warming would reduce corporate profits.) But this same network also fights for corporate tax cuts and corporate deregulation.

The following documentary shows how Fox news, corporate think tanks, and conservative billionaires manipulate republicans as if they were retarded sheep.

I know the Tea Party is a good thing when I see them demonized by both parties. Such "extremists"...limited Government, fiscal responsibility, border security etc. I wonder how many Tea Party haters have actually been to a TP rally? It's kind of funny to see all the hate pointed their way when I'm standing next to Black and Hispanic people standing up for the same things at these rallies.

Do many of you understand what makes a good journalist? You don't "fight for political ideas" with your stories, you report the news fairly. Journalism 101. I can site hundreds of examples where Left-Leaning journalists write their news to support a so-called cause and through puff balls to their dear leaders in interviews while asking leading questions to any conservative politician. In the end, the Left believes that it's OK for their side to do whatever it takes to sway public opinion...a "means to an end".

"Founded by leftwing activist Billy Wimsatt, the group is a secretive digital gathering of writers, opinion leaders, activists and political hands who share information, ideas and strategy via a closed Google group"

Gee, I'm sure there's no agenda. What strategy? Cloward & Piven? Alisnsky?

And as we've seen, on cue, the Left takes news like this and quickly starts to dismiss it and blame others. Just as expected.
