A non-binding General Assembly resolution which is tabled by the Security Council doesn't matter, and informed pro-Israel sources like the one pruzhany cited a couple months ago take pains to say so.
So what's your point? Israel is illegal and should be dismantled? Shunned? Or what?

My point is that the statement "Israel was created by the UN" is historically false. What conclusions people draw from that is up to them.
I do believe that the UN General Assembly should expel Israel on the basis of their refusal to comply with UN Resolution 194, which was a precondition for its admission in 1949, but that is a separate argument.

It's not historically false, you're just playing semantics. Thanks for the honest answer though. However, the toothpaste is out of the tube and it ain't going back in.

Whether a state is recognized by the United Nations is a (very consequential) matter of law, not one of semantics. Informed pro-Israeli authors are fully aware that the partition proposal of 1947 was never in legal effect.
It is an odd duck. They were big supporters for Obama but Obama really hates Israel. Jews do have a long history of supporting Socialism and Communism despite the disaster those "ism's" have brought to the world.

Israel was founded almost entirely by socialists. In fact, Zionism played the same historical role for Jews that fascism did for Gentiles--a weird cross-breeding of nationalism and Marxism.

Again you are wrong as factually based on that vote the British left the area and the State of Israel was established.
I'm pretty sure that "Dynamic, comprehensive way", in your case, means "Arabs bad, Jews good."
There was never any reason we had to throw our support to a small country with no oil, and which earned us the enmity of many much more valuable countries.
There is something off with your replies. I am explaining to you historically why and how things developed in the way they did, yet you go off the rails with "Arabs are bad, Israel is good!!"
