Many cities have 2 officers per car in high crime areas, one officer in cars in the suburbs and smaller towns.

Different rules.
Ahem.

To say that because a police officer works in one neighborhood versus another suspends some of the rights of the residents of that city so that a police officer is basically without restriction on their behavior as this police officer's oped suggests, is cowardly, morally wrong, and a recipe for abusive government.

Sure, civilized Americans. I don't think they had these in mind when they were writing those rules.

Have you seen how they behave in those parts of the country? I have, it's not pretty. If a cop shows up and tries to act all civil like you are saying..they would get eaten alive.

These are wild dogs these good cops, good guys are expected to deal with. They do the best they can.

That's not what that police officer was referencing. His basic point was as a cop he can do whatever he wants and if he gets violent he gets to blame the people he attacked. There aren't restrictions on his behavior.

You seemed to endorse this treatment for some citizens and not others.

It's frightening reading people who think hey some people just have fewer rights then other people. That is the only way a person can endorse that cops dangerous idiotic thinking.

Sadly this is the kind of talk we expect out of American cops as well.
Actually, a rapist-thug told me something similar to that, when he tried to sexually assault me. I hit him in the face and he saw white. I ran like hell....

No, all Americans should be treated with in the bounds of the law. Police officers don't get to legally do what that man is suggesting.

If a cop violates a citizen's rights set up by our civilization is that cop a wild uncivilized dog?

Why would any American endorse any this officer's insane viewpoint?

It makes no sense.

Here we go again trying to say people who are "thugs" deserve to be executed.

The constitution explicitly states we have a right to due process. Your judgement of another person is not grounds for capital punishment.

So....of course, then, you are against Affirmative Action since not all Americans are treated equally under the law due to this racist state policy.

Yep. And he wouldn't talk so slick if he didn't have a badge.

Those types kill me.

It's one thing to talk when your at a disadvantage or pretty even, but to talk from behind a badge? Getoutchea.
