I oppose it now, and have for many years. Men should be left to decide what they want to do with their genitals when they get older. Nothing should be "snipped" off without their consent.
There is nothing wrong with circumcision. It has numerous health benefits among which is reducing the risks of contracting HIV and other STDs, it also has hygienic purposes and most women prefer the cut look. It would be harmful to NOT have your son circumcised.
It is propaganda. They hate religion too.
They also claim that male circumcision causes mental anxiety and other mental issues on the child which is crap because I have no recollection of me being circumcised. and if that were true, half the world that is circumcised would all be crazy.

I have never in my life slept with a woman who gave even one crap about the fact that my penis is uncircumcised, and unless you're a swinger like I am your sample pool is much smaller than mine. You're welcome to like or dislike the way your penis looks, and you're also welcome to have dated and married shallow women, but don't act like it's the normal view, because it isn't.
With out ever being circumcised, how can you truly know? You only have one experience to draw on. I was circumcised when I was 19 so I know both experiences. For me, circumcision is much better and I'm glad I did it. Oh, and to those who wonder - YES it's painful! But once healed - much better.
To the OP - I think it should be the man's choice. As far as mothers vs fathers making the decision is irrelevant and what I think you're really doing is making fallacious controversy because it's what people on the POC forum do.
Sorry to hear that you think its mutilation, its done as a matter of hygiene. It benefits both parties in reducing the spread of STDs. As men age some do have a problem with their foreskin. If you think men are enjoying sex enough maybe you are not as good in the sack as you think you are.
2. See what you wrote for #1; this in itself might be sufficient reason to make it illegal, especially considering that there is a risk (a very small risk, but still) that one will die as a result of getting circumcised.
There is NEVER a reason to make something ILLEGAL unless there is a reason. Something not being necessary for most people isn't where you draw the line and make criminals out of people who does it anyway. That is flawed thinking.
It's not necessary for me to eat a cookie either (and you can argue all the health problems that come from it) but make it ILLEGAL? Ummm..no.
