Its hypocritical to say that black politicians cannot call something personal because a situation or some part of it resonates with their personal experience.

Ever hear a white male politician call some injustice suffered by a white male a personal affair because the victim was white and male?

Of course they do. I'd expect nothing less. They are stuck in a time warp. It's still 1960 in their minds. You know, they can't eat at certain diners, they have to sit in the back of the bus, the KKK is still running the streets and swaying elctions, lynch mobs are still running amock, we have no black leaders in power......

Nothing has changed.

Oh....... wait.....

Default racist are racist regardless.

You can't blame racism on anything other than personal choice of the individual.

The President has never had nor will ever have anything to do with how people decide to process thoughts on race.

Racists where around a long time before President Obama ever came into the world. I do believe that they are more open with their hatred now. Seeing the demographic changes happen right before our eyes o's hurtful to many who have been taught to judge and hate people base on race.

It never ceases to amaze me how many experts there are on Black culture and not have any dealing with Blacks. Many comments have been made about Ferguson and Michael Brown who knows nothing about the city or the people. It is totally ignorant.

You don't really believe that do you? What was the turnout in the black community the year he was elected? Something like 90%....

You'd have to be pretty naive to believe that skin color had nothing at all to do with it.

Are you kidding me. The majority of African Americans vote democratic. And they only make up 13% of the population. So guess who elected Obama...the white people. But you keep being naive lol

So why don't we see similar numbers of black people turning out to vote every election for the Democrat Candidate? In Obama's first run, more black people turned out to vote then ever before. Why is that, if it had nothing to do with skin color?

Well I agree! You're exactly right about that, but that fact seems to get forgotten all too often around these boards.

i like obama which was not the OP and is off topic.
race relations are worse but that was inevitable. no shared core values.
if what is normal and acceptable behavior in your community is 100% criminal behavior in mine how can we have diversity? same as us visiting bagdad for 13 years. how is that working out?
the people that are heroes in your community are considered criminals in mine.
OJ, Martin, and Brown.
culture clash
