Our military has a plan. You can count on that. The problem is that our President does not embrace the military's plan. I would imagine our military planners have devised a plan to utterly destroy ISIS and that Obama does not accept that as acceptable to his own ideology.

One has to appreciate the beauty of Obama’s planning, its lack of structure. That is what makes him a genius. He makes it up as we go along. Sort of like his presidency.

When you think of Obama’s strategy for ISIS, think ObamaCare.

School me.

You claimed there was a whole lot I don't know. Share your inside info, then.

I bet you thought that a 9/11 wasn't possible, but it happened, and other acts of terror have taken place on US soil. Too bad Clinton and Bush ignored the possibility of an attack on US soil. Had they paid attention maybe there wouldn't have been a 9/11. Maybe something has been learned by their ignorance believing that a attack on the US was not possible.
Again, you seem to imply that you had knowledge of events beforehand. You owe it to your country to share that knowledge with the proper authorities.

Yes, trillions have been dumped. Military lives lost and disabled, and not just the US military. But it's a bit hard to win a war when you put restrictions on those that are doing the fighting and told to "play nice", don't you think?
I think it's really stupid to expect people who've looked at democracy as "something the enemy (Israel) does" to "welcome us as liberators."

Especially when we burn their cities and kill their children.

And just think how much better the trillions wasted in the stupid middle east wars we've lost could have done here at home. Money flushed down the toilet, not to mention the thousands of lives lost and so many more ruined.

As always, YMMV

Yes, I wonder why with the lack of patriotism and unwillingness to engage by a larger portion of our citizens, we don't beat them to raising their flag over the White House and just go ahead and raise our own white flag of surrender and beg them to spare us.

I see some possible good coming out of ISIL's takeover of the M.E..
What a way to get us off M.E. oil. You think they'll allow any oil shipments to the U.S.? Not likely.
We'll get a clear picture of who's good and who's bad in the region. All areas controlled by ISIL = danger,no go, completely isolate area.
The very real danger with this group is the fact that quite a few have passports which allow them to come to the U.S. and do damage.

You do know that some of his defenders are already claiming that this statement was just an Obama tactic to fool them into attacking other terrorist groups for us. Such is the thought process of an Obamaphobe.

We agree on that point. Between govt talking heads and media pundits, I'm getting flashbacks to 2002 and the campaign of disinformation that led to public (and congressional) approval for the stupidly mismanaged fiasco in Iraq.

It's not our fight.

There are plenty of uncommitted military forces right there in the neighborhood (Egypt, Turkey, Saudi, others) that could wipe out ISIS overnight. The fact that none of them are even engaged tells me more than all the media blitz about what a huge threat they are.

And those supporting your position have all the above stated information in support of their position?
