Really? Why don't you provide some cases that bring up this issue.
You people are a piece of work.
You people? What? People from South Carolina that understand the oddity of the DMV here at times and have seen the people at DMV make women wash off their heavy makeup before photos? I'm sure that's what you meant, right?
Also, what cases? Even though this has been the SC DMV policy for - well ever - no one has sued over it until now. You know what else the SC DMV won't let you do? Wear a hat or not wear your glasses if your license says you need one or wear sunglasses or wear a wig. They consider all of those things disguises. Maybe other states allow those things. Here in SC, it's been like that for years.
This boy's case is claiming that women are not subjected to the same treatment. Point of fact, they are. I don't even bother putting on any makeup at all when I go get my picture done because I don't want to waste even more time at the DMV in case some DMV bureaucrat decides it's too much, as I've seen them do with other women.

It's quite simple. I asked you to provide proof that the DMV requires women to take their makeup off when taking their license photo. You didn't.
You don't put makeup on when getting your DMV picture? Lol, ok. Sure. That's hilarious. I have never once been asked to take my makeup off at the DMV. Not. One. Single. Time. I have never heard that EVER.
Who cares, let him wear the makeup, if he's going to permanently walk around like this, its just going to confuse anyone who looks at it to identify him.
Of course you would. He shouldn't win, because a photo ID should show the person's correct appearance, not a disguised image. If he's male, he shouldn't be shown as a female. That is purposefully deceitful.

Have you ever gone to South Carolina's DMV? I have been to the great state of South Carolina and I can assure you that they take the law quite seriously. S.B. has been to her DMV, if she says it is so, it is.
Meanwhile, this boy will lose this case as his argument rests on the false theory that women are never asked to remove makeup for South Carolina DMV photos. Easily shown to be false since the fact of the matter is that women are routinely asked to remove their makeup for DMV photos if it in any way disguises their natural features.
Right up to the first woman who comes forward as a witness for him who states she has had alopecia since birth and has worn a wig and heavy eyebrow pencil in every single SC driver's license photo she's had taken over 30 years or so with never once being asked to remove them so they can see the real "undisguised" her.
Either everyone should remove every aspect of facial, above shoulder make-up to support their "stated" policy/position or no one. "Sorry mam; you'll have to have those fugg-ugly collogen lips sucked out, your hair dyed back to original, your cheek implants and your nose job reversed or no driver's license for you."

There's an argument to make the rules 'clearer', based on what you're saying here. The way the rules are now, it is up to the discretion of the employee taking the picture. I've had some that won't let anyone, female, male, or whatever, wear a speck of makeup to having some that just ask people wearing heavy makeup to remove it. It's a fair complaint to say 'let's get better rules that are not subjective in nature'.
I just don't think he'll win the case because the state hasn't the burden here. They only have to show they've asked women to remove makeup and he loses. Remember, in a case like this, the burden is on the boy to prove the DMV doesn't require any women to remove their makeup. I know, having experienced what is the DMV down here, they definitely do. The issue should have been about how some women/men/whatever aren't subjected to the same application of the law but that's not what he's suing for.

I did provide proof. You rejected it. My personal experience is proof. Eh. What your DMV in your state does has no bearing on the experience of the SC DMV. Different locations, different rules, different laws. Here's the thing. Just because you're never heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exists. You do know that, right? It's not that big of deal down here. A pain, yes, but not something anyone freaks out over.
