The EPA, (as do other agencies) issues regulations on it's own, which have the force of law. Virtually none of these regulation need approval by Congress, and take affect automatically unless both houses of Congress agree that they shouldn't.

If it would make you happier, move to a county that does NOT have "Free" markets, then come back and tell us how great it is.

I would put your 25, how silly, images against the tens, probably hundreds, of thousands of images where the free market is doing a GREAT job.

The first link above is a local story (I live in the area), The "toxic waste" (fracking waste water) is mostly water and sand. It may be considered "toxic" by the EPA, but it contains very little of anything but water and sand.

But, nice try. Your links do not prove that corporations are only interested in profit over clean water and air. A few isolated cases are not sufficient proof of your claim.

I should like to add that I could provide many links to stories of men who have committed murder. Should I then conclude that all men are murderers? That is your logic.

That's not the results of "free market"..that's the results of governments not doing their job.

Look it up. I don't have the info at my fingertips. It's about 99% water.
"Hydraulic fracturing is a process whereby a fracturing fluid, primarily water, is pumped into the formation under pressure at a calculated rate to form fractures and cracks within the formation, providing a pathway for the gas to migrate to the wellhead for recovery. Sand or other granular materials are added to the fracturing fluid to help ‘prop’ open the newly created fractures after the fluid has been removed from the formation (ALL, 2008a). Additional chemicals may be added to the fracturing fluid for specific engineering purposes; these additions may include friction-reducing agents, biocides and various stabilizers to prevent corrosion of metal piping in the well (DOE, 2009; ALL, 2008a). Depending on the formation and well characteristics, multiple fracturing procedures may be performed in order to fully develop the well for gas recovery (DOE, 2009). While each well and geologic formation is unique, continuing advances in horizontal drilling and well completion practices provide additional reductions in environmental impacts from oil and gas activities while providing the nation’s critical energy supply."

The most polluted place on Earth is Lake Karachay, courtesy of the decidedly unfree-market USSR.

Communist China and socialist India also have some doozies.

Please continue demonizing free markets while hiding leftist death traps.

Pollution doesn't have anything to do with the property or economic system. It's simply a matter of regulation.
