Many extreme liberals, progressives, communists, self-loathing apologists, felt and still feel that we deserved to be attacked. They defend this position claiming we have no business policing the world.
I hope their homes are the first ones hit. That's what it would take to bring them to reality.

We should have left all of our puppets in place. They were the buffers between us and the extremists. But your reasoning is stark raving mad! They've hated the US since DS1, and Bin Laden/Al Qaeda's declaration of war on the US and all western nations. Not invading Iraq wouldn't have changed a damn thing.

Can you defend the position that the US federal government should be policing the world?
The people in World Trade Center didn't deserve to die for the policies of the federal government.
When you are an imperial nation that habitually victimizes other nations for decades upon decades, occasionally someone will rise up and hit back, and they won't always play by Queensbury rules. That's what we should've learned.
Instead, we reacted like a rabid lynch mob and eliminated one of the main bulwarks against the very people who attacked us.

I don't think ISIS/ISIL is coming to a home near you or me any time soon, so I think you can save the fear mongering for later.
Funny you should say you wish their homes be the first to be hit, because I think that is what the terrorists wanted America to feel, the reality of being attacked.
The reality is that NO ONE of any political persuasion in the US condones what happened on 9/11. But there is a difference in denying why something happened and accepting why it happened and trying to change the policies that put Americans at risk and in that position, in the first place.
Ask the average American before 9/11 who Bin Laden was, why did over 500,000 Iraqi children have to die form sanctions imposed by the Clinton administration, why did Reagan arm Freedom fighters who later turned against the United States, most would not know the answers to those questions. Now, some of them do.
When our government goes beyond their role of protecting America and making it safe for its
citizens, and their actions are having the opposite effect, our leaders need to be called out
on that. 9/11 was a wakeup call not only to terrorism, but to our government's role in bringing
it to fruition.

So let me get this straight, a conservative comedian is claiming he use to be a liberal? That is a pretty funny joke.
I never heard of him. He's probably just saying it to get some work.
Reminds me of the rocker who tries to make it, can't, so he joins a born again Christian band.
There's always work somewhere for that kind of thing. It's called marketing oneself.
In real life he's probably gay or sleeps with his sister
