This is how badly President Barack Obama’s image has eroded: Americans now view him more negatively than former President George W. Bush, and his surprise visit to a Washington, D.C. school Thursday disappointed a sixth-grade girl, who was hoping for Beyonce.
A new Wall Street Journal/NBC poll found that 42 percent of Americans think positively of Obama, compared with 46 percent who give him a negative rating. Bush, by comparison has a positive rating of 37 percent vs. a negative rating of 38 percent. (I guess the remaining 25 percent have decided to forget the Bush years, or were too busy flipping houses back then to pay attention to politics.)

A related question: will Republicans kick the President while he is down until he leaves office or will they be willing to work with him on issues where there is potential bipartisan agreement, such as tax reform?
The quality of character in Congress right now indicates the former will happen, IMO.
The Republicans have been hard at work trying to destroy Obama's presidency.
You got what you wanted. A "failed President" . Happy?
(You still aren't winning the White House in 2016)
From a policy standpoint, history will be very kind to Obama in most respects. We will all laugh at how idiotic the Republicans were to deny people health care.
How is Obama worse than Bush if Bush had a lower approval rating at this point?
Because Obama passed health care reform and stabilized the economy.
Oh wait, he's black. Everything wrong with America the last 30 years is Obama's fault.
