There would be no reports in MSM about a white Muslim hater who killed a young Imam fresh out Moslem school either!
Like hell there wouldn't be!
It would be the leading story on every single network and cable news channel for two weeks, and then would continue to be one of the top stories in A block of the news reports for another two weeks.
Reporters would be interviewing every student in his "Moslem school" to find out what kind of young man he was. And of course he would be an excellent student, a good son, a wonderful friend, a valued member of the church, and was voted "most likely to run his own Moslem school by 2020". Once it's no longer a leading story there would be one hour specials on multiple channels by news magazine reporters who will provide in-depth coverage on the history of Muslims in this country.
CAIR and any other whack-job Muslim special interest group would provide feedback to anyone with a microphone in their hand, on what a wonderful and peace loving young man this was, and that he had nothing but a bright future ahead of him - one that would contribute to both the fabric of the United States and bridge the gap of understanding between Christians and Muslims in this country. And then CAIR would remind people that most Muslims are peace loving.
Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and any number of illegal immigrant advocacy groups would also speak to anyone with a microphone in their hand because hate is hate, and racism is racism, and isn't it time for us to have a national conversation about hate and racism? They will start that conversation by using all the emal and social media passwords the feds have on us, and sending us all the words to the song Kumbaya. And then of course there would be the obligatory marches and singing in the streets and carrying of signs. Rioting would be optional.
President Obama will say that if he had a son he would look just like this young man. Only his son would like bacon so maybe the analogy doesn't fit as well as it once did. And then he'll muse that maybe it's time to find a different way to sound like he really gives a damn, 'cause people keep making fun of the "if I had a son" thing.
A thousand people would show up to the funeral of this "Moslem school graduate" including two handfuls of administration representatives, all the Muslim reps (dressed in their finest Muslim sheets) that you could possibly want to see sitting in one place at one time, Al and Jesse, and there will be rousing speeches given in the largest auditorium they could find. It would be nationally televised on major networks and cable news channels.
We'd talk about it for 35 pages on C-D before going back to the war on women, or calling all cops thugs, or declaring again in multiple threads that white people in this country are bad, and privileged, and racist, and Islamaphobic.
All spoken in theory, while the actual American young man who was murdered will be buried quietly by his friends and family.

What makes this young man a martyr? Was he murdered for speaking out about his religious or political beliefs?
It sounds like he was the victim of a random crime. It's a tragedy for his family for sure, but the world is filled with victims of violent crimes. It doesn't make them martyrs.
In many ways I think it is better not to publicize the "successes" of terrorists.
No, it needs to be known. We are under attack and the mainstream media doesn't want you to know it.

It was not a random crime. He was murdered for being an American by a Muslim terrorist. The murderer has even admitted that. It's an act of terrorism and a hate crime. Something the media should be all over. But are they?

Martyr is sensational, chosen to grab attention and invoke outrage.
Like so many victims, this kid was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Like so many victims, he had potential.

One of his accomplices recently murdered a girl because he wanted her cell phone.
The murderer's decision to elevate his crimes above and beyond ordinary hate and thug crimes is the basis of the story.
There are victims of hate crimes every day in this country. How many of these did you see reported on the nightly news?
"Newly released data from the FBI shows that blacks, Jews, gay men and Hispanics were the groups most often the targets of hate crimes in 2012. In total, 7,164 people were victims of hate crimes last year. In 2011, the data revealed that 71 percent of racially motivated crimes were committed against blacks and 16 percent against whites."
You are upset because the victim of this particular hate crime is white, but there is no outcry from you for the 71 percent of hate crimes leveled at people of color.
Being a victim of a hate crime doe not make one a martyr. It makes them the victim of a crime.
What evidence is there that this was a hate crime?
