Syria has a defense treaty with Russia and we just attacked a sovereign nation who hasn't attacked US.What if Putin makes aggressive moves to counter our actions ? I'm afraid its about to get very bloody soon... God help us!

Fair point, but...

Assuming we aren't striking "Syria".....but rather the "Islamic State" (ISIS) that Syria offered to do joint strikes on with the US, so we most likely will avoid a Russian incident with this. Putin is to busy eyeing his own aggressions.
