Syria has a defense treaty with Russia and we just attacked a sovereign nation who hasn't attacked US.What if Putin makes aggressive moves to counter our actions ? I'm afraid its about to get very bloody soon... God help us!

Fair point, but...
Assuming we aren't striking "Syria".....but rather the "Islamic State" (ISIS) that Syria offered to do joint strikes on with the US, so we most likely will avoid a Russian incident with this. Putin is to busy eyeing his own aggressions.
It's too bad that 80% of both parties are listening to them.
We need to get out of the fevered delirium of war, with the hallucination that all the money in the world is to be made in the madness of war and the wildness of its aftermath. Let us stop to consider that tranquility at home is more precious than peace abroad, and that both our good fortune and our eminence are dependent on the normal forward stride of all the American people. …
The forces involved are the US, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and UAE. The involvement of Arab states is remarkable to say the least.
Saudi Arabia,UAE,Jordan? Talk about JV teams the only reason they are involved is because these despots know their power hold on things is in jeopardy too...
Thanks Obama! Drop that freedom on them. I'm sure it will work just like all bombing campaigns have in the past. Brilliant strategy that has been proven over and over to work.
True, but this is still news. Obama didn't announce a start day (not that he should have). Also our Ambassador to the UN just recently said that the US would not conduct any strikes in Syria unilaterally...so I wonder who is bombing with us in Syria (assuming that her statement was true). France had been doing some missions, but in Iraq.
On a side note: I think that ISIS, unlike Libya, did pose a direct threat to the US and didn't need congressional approval for limited operations.

If you knew squat about the Middle East you would realize that Saudi Arabia is no JV team.
