Sarcasm isn't trolling (city-data even provides a tool to indicate you're being sarcastic). It's an argumentative technique.
I was simply repeating something that conservative posters have said thousands and thousands of times on this forum - (that gay people not keeping silent about who they are is shoving their deviant and perverted sex acts in everybody's face) - in a context that points out how absurd that position is.

Not a switch. I've employed sarcasm at times on this forum for years. (and sarcasm is not dishonest)
