Anti-Gay Agenda: Gay man shot to death in Manhattan (drugs, crimes, bias)

The murderer shouted anti-gay slurs at the victim and his friend just before he pulled the trigger and shot the victim in the face.

This is the latest in a series of violent attacks against gay people in New York in recent weeks.

(And here come the snide remarks about "liberal" New York, gun control, blaming the victim, etc. -- anything to avoid acknowledging the reality that anti-gay bigotry is real, it's out there, and it can be deadly.)

I believe there is a law against shooting someone in the face for no reason. I don't know enough about the story or care enough to investigate it.

Exactly what do you want? Has the shooter been charged? What more can I do? Are you going to start threads for every shooting in Chicago? New Orleans? Timbucktoo?

The popular acceptable version of attacks on gay men would be like the Matthew Shephard case.
