Actually, it is you who needs to read Article I, Section 7, Clause 2 of the US Constitution. While Congress is in session, any bill they pass becomes law automatically after 10 calendar days (excluding Sundays) unless it is vetoed by the President. No presidential signature is required. And, yes, Congress also has the constitutional authority to override presidential vetoes and impeach Presidents, in case those two constitutional points were not clear to you before.

Oh but I thought people in the "good old days" were smart and knew what they were doing are you saying your father's generation isn't the Greatest Generation after all? After all, your father and his father were the generations that gave us Social Security, Medicare, organized labor, 8 hour work day, 40 hour work week, women getting the right to vote, the end of Jim Crow. Libertarianism wishes to roll back all of those accomplishments because "the market" can do all those, and better. Bull****!

Worst list
1. Fdr
2. Wilson
3. Lincoln
4. Tie between lbj and Obama, depends on the long term damage of Obamacare.

Mostly determined by the long term damage of enacted policies.

FDR gave us much needed labor reforms, food and medicine safety regulations, to name a few. Wilson I can't say he has any accomplishments, really. A shame he didn't nationalize the Federal Reserve when he was around. But, we've always had a Federal Reserve, we just called it the First and Second Banks of the United States

Lincoln saved the US from tearing itself apart, and freed the slaves. LBJ gave us the Civil Rights Act, and ended Jim Crow

FDR brought us all of "Uncle Joe's" policies that he could by any means possible.
Wilson sold the United States and enslaved the population forever to shylocks and money-changers.
Lincoln led a Federal Coup to forever enslave the States to the Federal Occupying Force.

You're welcome. Most people on here don't read more than a few paragraphs before ADHD kicks in.

FDR was one of the greatest presidents in the US. That 40 hour work week you enjoy, 8 hour a day, was because of him. So, whenever you start getting nostalgic about the early 1800s, you think about what FDR did for you.

Wilson did the right thing. The only thing he didn't do right, was give the Federal Reserve more power to regulate the banks. Only way this can be accomplished is that the US government cannot own less than 51% of the Federal Reserve, which it should do.

Lincoln freed the slaves, and preserved the union. The Confederates were nothing more than British pawns to carve up the US to reincorporate it into British America again. Divide and conquer is as British as apple pie
