That is good, with the divorce rate being so high with people who get married young, it makes sense to wait and get married when one is more mature and able to make that kind of a lifelong decision.

Yeah, as people live longer there is less desire to get married at young ages. I think within a decade or 2 it will be in the low 30's like in Europe.

Good, the divorce rate will drop and people will be more selective before tying their future to another person for life, especially in states that require the ex-husband to support the woman for the rest of her life for some unknown reason.

Well it's kind of hard to do the whole "marriage and white picket fence" thing when 20-somethings are 100k deep in student loan debt and working at TGI Friday's.

And if you are a double income earner it's financially better to stay single to avoid the marriage penalty for both taxes and Obamacare. How ironic that Obama's policies "most directly hurt women.

Obamacare promotes single motherhood and discouraging marriage, an increase in poverty is inevitable. Just one more of the numerous financial incentives in current government policy that increasingly encourage individuals to reject marriage
