This Ebola has a much stronger viral load in the people who are infected. This makes it more contagious.

In Africa they have 50 burial teams trained to bury bodies... they say they need 500 burial teams to handle the deaths in Africa. This outbreak is the worst in the history of Ebola cases. The world needs to take more precautions including the CDC and our government to curtail the spread of this disease before it become uncontrollable. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
They also told us at one point that Ebola patients would be too sick to travel so we didn't need to worry about it coming here from Africa.

For whatever it's worth..we are in unchartered territory here with Ebola in the US.
Whatever guidelines and protocols were in place were only on paper. Now they are being executed and the gaps are showing up.

If hospitals all over the US were prepared,as Mr. CDC said himself, why don't all the hospitals have a big stock of level 4 biohazard clothing ?

NO.
The protocols worked where they were applied. Dallas failed to follow them. They left the guy in a back room for hours, sent contaminated samples through the tubes. Did you even read the nurses' report? It is a textbook case on how NOT to manage Ebola. This hospital should be put out of business and probably will be after all the lawsuits they are going to get. You can't make excuses by conjecture of what might have happened in another hospital.

Well my sister is NOT in Texas and she said she would quit before dealing with Ebola.
Her hospital has ZERO level 4 gear.

One difference is that the other hospitals knew in advance they were getting an Ebola patient.

I smell an Ebola Patriot Act on the horizon.

You have to wonder why the Dallas hospital did not send someone to Emory to observe their procedures.
Global infectious disease professionals with hands on Ebola experience acquired that experience in Africa, under very different conditions.

Emroy was the first US hospital to treat Ebola, begining 8/2. They learned and continue to learn from their experiences/mistakes.

We don't know if the Dallas Hospital asked for help, received help or assumed, to a certain extent, they had it under control. Infectious Disease Professionals are not exempt from ego and politics within hospitals, counties, states, CDC and WHO.

Expecting perfection is unrealistic in any environment

They are all learning as they go. Without mistakes, no one learns anything.

Yeah, let's join hands and keep out all those crazy Liberians trying to get into the US cause yeah, we all know, Ebola checks nationality and race before it attaches to a host.

Or perhaps, the US should cut off all incoming international flights till 21 days following the last Ebola death in the world. That might be 100 years from now, but what the heck.

Or, more simply, let's continue to make this uber-political and vote against all Democrats in November so that the Republicans can achieve a super majority and override the potential for an Obama veto and restore America to its delusions of grandeur and exceptionalism.

The garments and bedding should be self-disinfecting.

Same goes for all Personal Protective Equipment.

The fact that this health care worker had contact with Mr. Duncan and then was allowed to fly is unfathomable. We must face the reality that our agencies to do not know what they are doing.

The plane that sat on the runway for over 2 hours full of people from the last Ebola scare was due to the various agencies outside the plane arguing over what to do with the passengers.
The captain came over the loud speaker and apologized to all the customers and told them that several agencies were outside the plane arguing over what to do.

The problem is that they are all "partners" following the chain of stupidity.

Someone has to be in charge here..someone has to LEAD.
But the problem is that none of the agencies want to be at the head due to the blame game.
