This is a prime example as to what happens when you allow capitalism rather than the government fixing issues which affect us all.
Actually, the pressure on prices is because OPEC is trying to push margins so low that they crash the American oil producers. They did it back in the 70s, and again in the 90s. I think they'll fail horribly this time around, at least I hope so.

Any article that claims the Recession was a result of high oil prices is suspect at best, and dishonest and with an agenda at worst. It speak of how fracking is been so successful but ask the Texans that have had it happening around and under them and see what they think of it, there are communities that are now passing laws against them doing it there. Not to mention the fact that much of that oil and gas is not even sold here so who is that helping, it sure is not us. I will remind the readers here that the last time a Moron Con screamed Drill Baby Drill we have an Oil Spill the likes of which we had never seen before and the damage has still not been fully corrected. So more drilling might have helped some Big Oil and Gas Tycoons make a lot more money but as for helping the US, not so much.

Hell, even bolts are turned right to tighten them. So, I guess that's why liberals have a screw loose!

I guess liberals were wrong TWICE on the subject.. hahahaha

Conservatives tell us corporations exist to make profits and now you're trying to convince us oil suppliers would purposely sell their products at less than market price? Or that speculators have NO influence on market price?

Please, a 6 year old would see right thru that smoke and those mirrors.

Yes, even down under. It's a standards, rather than a physics issue.
