Yeah, they should be more like us and not need any excuse at all.
I know, marriage law is about the one thing the middle east is doing right. Then people wonder why the marriage rate and birth rate is plummeting in western countries (if you omit the Hispanic population who have better family values than the rest of us).
Its not the forcing of someone to be married that is the issue, its the cash and prizes women get upon exit of the marriage that is the issue. No one should be forced to do anything, including men paying child support, alimony, etc. That is why at fault divorce is the way it should be for a healthy society. The innocent party to the divorce should be able to walk way and form a new relationship as if they were never married or had kids (at least financially).
There should be legal consequences to being a prude, drunk, gambler, physically abusive, etc in a marriage causing the other person to want to leave or someone that cheats for no reason because the person next door was hotter. People behaving poorly should not be able to make the other person pay or suffer.

If one cheats in a marriage and the marriage ends in divorce, it is their fault the marriage ended, not the other person.
Often times a marriage ending in divorce is usually the man's fault, and it is the woman who has to then raise any children they may have, which is where child support comes into play. Just because you divorce the wife doesn't mean you also divorce the child you created together.
