I have no words to address this level of inanity.

Most of us never think about such silly issues. Most of us don't view racial diversity as a goal, but rather something that might happen naturally. Most of us would rather focus on opportunities for everyone.

That white guilt must have come with his Colorado College degree.

Would it help to paint a little graffiti on the side ?

Wow-they really had someone sitting there tallying up how many people were there from each race; That is creepy.

People that think about color and ethnicity so much are racist in their own way, no matter what they proclaim to be or want.

Colorado is not known for having a large black population so I have no idea why this is so shocking.

Sounds like this " fine arts" critic has too much time on his hands.

It's called "modern progressive thinking" at it's best.

Not much can be done to address the European architecture, but they should have painted more nonwhite faces. There also could be a broader variety of restaurants too. Maybe the powers that be designed this place to be a "whites only" establishment?
What would be the reaction if all of the faces were painted some other color than white?

That is insanity. I suppose they could tear the whole thing down and start from scratch with a tax payer funded grant to guarantee a diverse racial mix of visitors. I'm sure there are plenty of nuts out there that would actually vote to do that. How about busing in a group of minorities and see what they think? Before I met my wife she worked down South in a diverse business. During work everyone hummed along together but at lunch time in the cafe the whites were on one side and the blacks on the other. She said it wasn't a race thing but a cultural thing. She didn't have much in common with the black women.

at this station Is it an issue of Race or is it Culture? Or is it the $15 martinis on a Saturday night?

Why do people waste theri time with such stuff? It must have been a slow news day.

Another thought on racist architecture is in a name. I always thought 1600 Pennsylvania Ave with its "White House" was a bit racist. It is time to change that name.
