You are living in a van down by the river, likely smoking reefer,sucking off your socialist government and depending on American blood to keep you free. That is just the poster and only the poster to whom I speak. I worked in Canada for a year and my wife is from Canada. All Canadians don't believe the way you do. Unfortunately many Americans do so you are in good company.
i dont live in a van down by the river, its actually more of a lake(joking) and i dont depend on american blood to keep me free our foriegn diplomacy keeps us free. im sure if you asked 100 canadians who they think is most likley to invade us the answer would be the u.s. (most likley thinly disguised in some way or another)
why do americans believe they are the greatest country in the world?. they dont even crack the top 15 in any kind of rating that matters. maybe its the 12000 murders a year. maybe its because the government sends young people to die to enforce the will of the corporations. maybe its the healthcare. you peolpe need to come out of your media induced coma and wake up because your country is in serious trouble. stop believing its your god given right to rule the world. ever think of why people attack you?. canada is very similar and no one attacks us. there is a whole side of the story that your not being told . its not religious fanatisism its that people in t

I agree with most of what you say. I am American (the good kind j/k), and still hope that our country can become what our founders dreamed of. I still believe in the constitution. But our leaders cant even follow that. We still have a long way to go. We haven't even mastered the separation of church and state. Compared to other countries we are a new nation, so it is silly to think that we somehow have all the answers.
I'm not saying there is some perfect country out there, because there really isn't. I'm saying the way that America acts like some world police turns other countries off.
This is a preemptive argument against those who say we shouldn't just let people attack us and get away with it. IRAQ DID NOT ATTACK US. AND THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. THERE WAS NO LEGAL JUSTIFICATION FOR INVADING IRAQ.

I think Americans think they are superior because other people talk about us all the time. It's a delusion, certainly -- but it's reinforced by the delusional envy from abroad.
youre right people do talk about you all the time but not in a good way anymore. stop running on past glory and smell the roses. special intrest groups and lobbying are holding you back ( the only western nation not to have health care) do you really think your way is superior and the rest of the western world is wrong?
Both the US and the Soviet Union had economies that were and are still dominated by militarism. It just led them to bankruptcy before the United States. Countries and economies that keep the military and the mercenaries contractors to a very small portion of the government generally have more prosperity for more people
We must redirect our economic efforts back into our domestic economy by radically reducing the protection provided to our overseas investments and replace our overseas empire with a domestically oriented government spending and investment.
Protecting US based investors that spend their money overseas is foolish. Time to abandon the Empire before it bankrupts our economy. If it hasn’t already done so.

I have a friend that is in Canada, and he tells us that in the streets of Toronto, there are mass gay orgies, drinking of baby blood, polar bear riding, and that the new cool thing to do is walk like a crab.

And btw, idk if anyone corrected you, but canada does have soldiers dieing in the war on terrorism.
