i dont live in a van down by the river, its actually more of a lake(joking) and i dont depend on american blood to keep me free our foriegn diplomacy keeps us free. im sure if you asked 100 canadians who they think is most likley to invade us the answer would be the u.s. (most likley thinly disguised in some way or another)

those countries don want to be occupied and exploited, can you blame them?
remember the british? when you drove them out what did you call yourselves? terrorists? insurgents?. remember one mans terrorist is another mans partriot. change your foreign policy this war on terror can never be won.
I agree with most of what you say. I am American (the good kind j/k), and still hope that our country can become what our founders dreamed of. I still believe in the constitution. But our leaders cant even follow that. We still have a long way to go. We haven't even mastered the separation of church and state. Compared to other countries we are a new nation, so it is silly to think that we somehow have all the answers.

I'm not saying there is some perfect country out there, because there really isn't. I'm saying the way that America acts like some world police turns other countries off.

This is a preemptive argument against those who say we shouldn't just let people attack us and get away with it. IRAQ DID NOT ATTACK US. AND THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. THERE WAS NO LEGAL JUSTIFICATION FOR INVADING IRAQ.

[quote=Frank_Carbonni;2550776]Maybe because it has lead the world in so many fields for almost a century.

The Japanese committed more war crimes in the 1930s and 1940s than the US has committed in its entire history. Think America was bad during the Vietnam War, the Japanese treated the Vietnamese worse. The Japanese public actually celebrated countless war crimes. The newspapers actually published the results of contests Japanese soldiers used to hold about how many civilians they could kill in a set time period. While there are many ethical problems with the use of nuclear weapons on cities, but the Japanese were closer to belonging to a violent cult than most civilians.

we should not forget tha war crimes trials are rarely held by the vanquished and history is rarely written by the losers. shall we check the u.s. body count? one instance i can think of is the oilwell fires during the first gulf war. the story was the iraqi army set them as an act of terrorism right?. a former co worker of mine and ex soldier in the afformentioned army painted a different picture(he was there and lit the second well). they were on the retreat and trying to surrender but( the u.s. airforce was using them for target practice(not just the men either) so they lit the fires to block out the sattelites and escape with their lives. not the story that you saw on tv is it? please dont think i am a sympathizer or in league with any pro jihad movement because im not i just desire truth thats all

If you celebrated on 9-11, I'm sure it is. If you still love this country... I mean really love it and don't just pretend to love it, then no.

Protecting US based investors that spend their money overseas is foolish. Time to abandon the Empire before it bankrupts our economy. If it hasn’t already done so.
america needs an enemy , or do they?

I have a friend that is in Canada, and he tells us that in the streets of Toronto, there are mass gay orgies, drinking of baby blood, polar bear riding, and that the new cool thing to do is walk like a crab.

The good ol' I have a friend story. How about you get some credible sources before you start spouting out crap.

And btw, idk if anyone corrected you, but canada does have soldiers dieing in the war on terrorism.
