If we compare alcohol abuse with marijuana abuse long term, alcoholics develop stomach problems.
They develop a LOT more than stomach problems. . . have you never heard of cirrhosis of the liver? Nerve damage? Sexual problems? Permanent brain damage? Hell, stomach problems are just the start.

With the obesity epidemic in the U.S., perhaps they should schedule fast food as a schedule one drug. heart disease is a killer. Cannabis, is not.

there have been enough articles on the harmfull effects of smoking marijuana that it shouldn't even be a question now. BBC health section has carried many articles over the years.

Care to quote some sources to back up just how harmful, note the correct spelling, it is? Specifically, compared to tobacco?

Smoking is NOT the only way to ingest cannabis.

I think smoking is the worst way to go, as burning ANY matter and ingesting it will have ill effects on the lungs. BUT, there have been studies that show smoking cannabis is less harmful than tobacco.

Also, everyone who is over the age of say, 15, knows the damage/effects of alcohol. What about tobacco?

Should we re-question these as well?
