U.S. has gained 2.3 million jobs in 2014 - Nov. 7, 2014

On average, the economy has been adding well over 200,000 jobs a month this year, a positive sign that means the U.S. is on track for its best year of job gains since 1999. There have been nearly 2.3 million jobs added so far this year.

"It also helped that October's gain was widespread, with nearly every industrial sector contributing to the job gains," says Paul Ashworth, chief economist at Capital Economics. Food services and health care had the biggest hiring sprees.

I had not known that the economy was that bad. I guess this means the true unemployment rate is now up to, what, 43 percent or so?

You also need to look at the quality of the jobs over the quantity of the jobs.
Many of those new jobs pay less than the old jobs that got off shored.

There's more to it then just sheer numbers.

Is it comedy morning?
Watch next year. We'll likely finally see more impressive improvement instead of this crawl.

It's better to have a job, than not to have one. Would you agree?

Yes, it has been gaining momentum. This was the best year since 1999, which is not exactly a crawl.

According to Democrats for the last 6 years, thats not true because welfare held a multipler effect on the economy and not having a job reduced crime cause people were home to protect their ****.

yes, that was the left wing talking point for YEARS...
