The Army is moving to discharge a decorated combat pilot who intervened to stop two lesbian officers from showing what he considered inappropriate affection on the dance floor during a full-dress formal ball at Fort Drum, New York, in 2012.

Discharge pending for combat pilot who tried to halt lesbian officers' make-out session - Washington Times

How long will our country put up with these outrages against order and decency and this trashing of all respect for what is morally right?
Barack Obama's selective enforcement of the law which he is bound by oath to uphold and enforce, reveals not only a lawless, but an immoral character. Only a moral people will be concerned about applying the law impartially and with equity; an immoral people will always find ways to justify lawlessness

If that was a heterosexual couple, I highly doubt the army would try and discharge him. I'm so tired of the double standards in this country.

Listen, I don't agree with homosexuality either but from my understanding I don't remember it being against their law to show PDA at a military ball.

When I was in the military it was don't ask - don't tell..... That was bad enough.
Then it went to ok to be gay & you can stay in...
Then to marriage with benefits...
I'm just glad I got out before they made it mandatory......

Reading the news story paints a different picture. The couple were in full dress uniform at a ball on base. They were on the dance floor French kissing and pulling off each other's uniform jacket. They being military officers, they're held to higher standards of behavior. By military regulations, the pilot officer's actions were legal and warranted whether the couple in uniform were gay or straight. Dancing, hugging, and chaste kiss in uniform at a military ball is fine. What they were doing at the ball was beyond acceptable amount of PDA for military officers at an official military event while in uniform. Look at it this way, this was like an office social. You're at the office on the clock, and two coworkers are making out hot and heavy in the center of the room. The officer was reminding them to act like military officers and behave as such.

I think the guy should be commended.......
It's repulsive that he's going to be punished.
There should be a petition to not reprimand him for standing up for whats right.
What an ass backwards situation.

Maybe Obama and his puppeteers are trying to run all of the Heterosexual folks with Christian values out of the service? What better way of doing this than promoting and encouraging a homosexual lifestyle in our military. Think about it the majority of people that find the Homosexual lifestyle acceptable have a left leaning political viewpoint also. They usually support issues like Gay marriage, wealth redistribution, gun control, euthanasia, abortion, illegal immigration etc. etc. In ten more years the military will be filled from top to bottom with a majority of people who agree with the Liberal point of view on issues.

What do you think would have happened in 1976 if Jimmy Carter told members of the armed forces that they would be going from door to door and taking weapons and communications devices from Private Citizens? Now fast forward to 2030 and a Liberal politician like Obama is President and the Liberal agenda has advanced even more than it is today. Wanna bet that order might be obeyed?
