In related news - Scott Walker wins 3rd election in 4 years. Guess Wisconsin really, really likes him, given how often they get to vote for him and how regularly they keep giving him a majority.
Please provide a source for this. You have a bad habit of not sourcing things and I googled the tax cuts by walker and they don't seem to be what you are lying....err describing them to be.
I saw that the top tax bracket only went down by 0.1% while the lower brackets went down by vastly higher amounts.
Hahahaha.....from your link: [b] A typical state homeowner will see a $100 reduction in property taxes and a worker who makes $40,000 will save about $58 annually, according to the governor's office.
Now lets see what the neglected road maintenance will cost the average WI citizen:
Quote:
Driving on roads in need of repair costs Wisconsin motorists $1.147 billion a year in extra vehicle repairs and operating costs – $281 per motorist.

Now lets see what the neglected road maintenance will cost the average WI citizen:
Lets see: $100 + $58 = $ 158.00 minus $281 = (well you do the math Mathguy)
Cause/effect failure..
Unless you can attribute 100% of all vehicle maintenance costs due to the cutbacks...
Can you?
A lot of road repairs are federally subsidized.. Are you telling me the federal government isnt giving Wisconsin adaquate money? What happened to that roads and bridges priority set by Obama?
...And if money from the general fund was used you'd be complaining about subsidizing roads for the benefit of big oil.
Except Walker took money from the transportation fund to cover a deficit in the general fund.
Quote:
Legislature has transferred moneys initially deposited into the transportation fund to programs with non-transportation-related purposes. Such transfers have typically been to general revenue funds, which are used for state programs such as education, health care, and shared revenue. The Wisconsin Supreme Court has suggested that these transfers are permissible under current law.
I see the Democrats are already starting to distort GOP's records. They must be afraid of the Presidential elections..
Except WI needs roads repaired, not more roads. That is like building a new addition on the house when the roof is collapsing on the rest of the house. Poor management!
Quote:
Wisconsin’s transportation spending priorities are backwards. In recent years, despite ongoing fiscal challenges, the state has spent billions of dollars on highway expansion projects while slashing transit funding and curbing assistance for local road repair.

I specifically asked you about how you were describing the tax cuts as "for the rich" when every news article I could find had the tax cuts vastly weighted towards the middle class and poor.
Instead you are hand-waving about construction costs.
Come one, try to be honest.
Talk specifically about the tax cuts and whom benefited the most.
Please note that road maintenance is not proof of tax cuts for the rich.
Proof dems are worried about a walker run for president. If this is all they have on him they better be worried.
